BIReady is offering a novel product for Business Intelligence (BI) that requires a Data Warehouse (DW). Named after the company, BIReady is a generic DW designer and builder, automating a task that traditionally involves intensive manual labour, often employing specialist DW consultants. The capability to generate a DW from a business model pays the highest dividends when changes and updates are required – these can be performed at the touch of a button. As a result BIReady is a tool that enables businesses to be agile by making BI more responsive to business needs - able to align to business strategy more effectively. BIReady can generate Data Definition Language SQL and Process Instructions, so that a complete DW from source data staging, with data mapping, to data marts can be produced, including reporting of DW performance. Thus Extraction Load Transform (ETL) can also be included in the business model, a complex activity that is often done badly using custom software or done in specialist tools. With BIReady, a business analyst can produce a DW, without requiring any programming; this has the advantage of transferring ownership of the DW to the people who best understand the meaning of the data. The pricing structure is based on the complexity of the DW, so there is a suitable package for small to large customers.
